Stephanie BoardenProgram and Learning Officer, Open Society Foundation
Stephanie Boarden is a program and learning officer with the Open Society Public Health Program, where she supports grant making and learning throughout the program. Before joining Open Society, Stephanie was an associate director at PolicyLink, where she focused on advancing racial, economic, and social equity by leveraging public health policy and systems. She provided strategic guidance, leadership, and support to the Convergence Partnership, a national funder collaborative promoting health equity, as well as technical assistance and training to foundations, community organizations, and governments. She previously worked at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, managing community-based research and program evaluation efforts in the Brooklyn District Public Health office. She has also worked internationally in the fields of maternal mortality and access to HIV/AIDS care and treatment. Boarden holds an MPH from the University of California at Berkeley, and teaches at Long Island University. |
